Well the new camera arrived day before yesterday and so far we've taken 151 picures, holy crap its the bizzzzz, zoom and all (X10.7 i might add). Its got a macro setting for looking at fly's tits, bums and willies, oh shes a cracker.
On a more serious note the wedding is only 5 weeks away this saturday and im not sure what else is left to do, rings are bought although mine hadda go back as apparently ive got girlie fingers or as they put it in the shop 'slim fingers'. anywho im not having a stag do and paulie (the missus-to-be) aint having a hen, instead we're doing what we always wanted to do, a big bbq and party for all our friends in the garden, some music, make an arse of ourselves, a good bit of craic, so much better than the usual crap. Can't wait.
NO TROUSERLESS ROCK BIG FELLA (well not before 12 anyway, let our food go down)

| Being ill is shite, very shite, now im not going to moan too much but I just dont see the point in being ill, what good can it possibly have, where are the benefits, yes you get off work for a while and can get some funky drugs but thats about it!! Well I usually dont get sick, I pretend to but thats when I need a break from work. This year has been the exception. In february I started to feel fluy, achey, generally crap. The doctors said I had the flu and I was off work playing rise of nations (superb game) so life was good in an odd sort of way! well after 3 weeks I was still off, went back to the doctors and what did they say, "you might have TB, you'll hadda go into hospital" (their actual words were "I want you to go up to casualty immediately and do exactly what the say") instant poo in my pants!! Well I went to the hospingtile and they took an xray of my chest which showed up some funky shit, they then put me in an isolation ward and made me piss in a bottle in my room (which is surprisingly easy to get used too I might add). Over the following 3, yes I said it THREE WEEKS they ran numerous tests (lots of needles and taking biopsies from my lungs) and finally diagnosed me with sarcoidosis. Now here is the funny bit, they dont know what it is, what causes it or how to really deal with it. FUCKING TYPICAL. dickhead here has to get the gimpy disease that no one knows much about apart from the chinese doctor in downpatrick who cant speak english yet but who did come bursting into the hospital room one day waving his arms and saying "No canca no canca", que poo in the pants again. Any way im better now, just wanted to rant, well not better but I feel normal, I have to get another xray in August to see if the shit in my chest has cleared and if it hasnt I'll hadda go on steroids, superb!!

| Another sunny day. I hear there is a new crater on the moon and even better it was captured on camera by NASA being created by a meteorite. It hit Mare Nubium (sea of clouds) with 17bn joules of kinetic energy which is about 4 ton of tnt at the start of May. Check out the video below. http://science.nasa.gov/headlines/y2006/13jun_lunarsporadic.htm- Mood:bouncy

| Tis the season for NLC (Noctilucent Clouds, see the NLC homepage), and what a season it has got off to. I seen my first display from Castleward on Friday night (at about 0025) and what a display, it really blew me away, I never realised that Noctilucent Clouds would be so ghostly and so beautiful, I have had the image burned into my mind, I only wish I had of had A camera with me.(well I did actually but its crap) For those not in the know Noctilucent Clouds are "night shining" clouds, that is there rough translation. See below "Noctilucent clouds, also known as polar mesospheric clouds are bright cloudlike atmospheric phenomena visible in a deep twilight. The name means roughly "night shining" in the Latin language. They are most commonly observed in the summer months at latitudes between 50° and 60° north and south of the equator" (source wikipedia) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noctilucent_cloudsFor up-to-date observation reports go to http://www.nlcnet.co.uk/http://eaas.proboards31.com/ East Antrim Astronomical Association forum. - Mood:good

| Well I have just registered with livejournel and i'll see what happens over the next weeks, more than likely i'll get bored of it quite quickly.
This has been and is going to be one of the biggest years of my life. Firstly i'll be getting married in August to my beautiful paulie whom I have now been together with for 8 years this year (dear god that long!! ;)). It looks set to be a fantastic day with lots of kilts and booze, one draw back is that my sisters fiance will not be present as he just heard word yesterday that he is going to Afghanistan early (I, early as in next week!!!). Im sure there will be many toasts to him. Then we are of on a honeymoon to die for in St Lucia for lots of cocktails and beer and rum and food and cocktails and more food woooohoooo! I cant wait to get my food wavey flag thing for the beach "more cocktails please, and garnish it with a burger"! superb. The skies in St Lucia should be fantastic and I cant wait to try out the new camera (S9500) we will be getting soon. This trip will be the furthermost south I have been and the sky will be filled celestial treats I have never seen, cant wait to get a fews images of them.
Anywho better get back to work - Mood:amused
